We are thrilled to introduce Sarah Kidd, PA-C. She's accepting clients at our Davenport and Clinton locations. See below for current injectable and medspa specials with Sarah.
Professional Background
Sarah Kidd, MMSc, PA-C, brings more than a decade of experience in skincare and aesthetics to Core Dermatology in Davenport, with a background that blends medical dermatology, injectables and advanced skin treatments.
Sarah started her career as a master esthetician, where she developed a love for helping people improve the health and appearance of their skin. She later went back to school to become a physician assistant, giving her the ability to combine that skincare background with medical training and a much broader range of treatment options.
Since then, Sarah has worked across medical and cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine. Her experience includes Botox and other neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Sculptra, PRP/PRFM, laser treatments, SkinPen and chemical peels, along with treating common dermatologic concerns.
Most recently, Sarah worked as an Advanced Injector with OVME Medical Aesthetic Studios in Richmond, Virginia, where she was ranked among the company’s top 10 injectors. She was also recognized by Our Health Magazine with First Place Recognition for Bedside Manner in 2019.
Her approach is centered on natural-looking results and choosing treatments that make sense for each individual patient rather than following a one-size-fits-all plan. With experience on both the medical and esthetic sides of skincare, she looks at the full picture, from skin health and facial anatomy to long-term goals.
01 / her start
What made you want to get into
aesthetic medicine?
I started my career as an esthetician and loved taking care of people’s skin health, especially helping patients with acne and rosacea. I eventually decided to go back to school for my Master of Medical Science so I could expand my scope of practice and have even more ways to help patients reach their goals. I love both science and art, and I notice and appreciate beauty in all facets of life, so aesthetics has always felt like a natural fit for me.
02 / her FAVES
What is your favorite treatment to perform?
I don’t know that I have just one favorite because I really believe the best results often come from combining treatments. Botox is always a patient favorite, but I’m also a big fan of lasers, SkinPen, VI Peels, natural-looking filler and Sculptra.
03 / her free time
What do you like to do outside of work?
My son and I love hiking, going to the farmers market, spending time at the beach and visiting the barn to see the horses. I’m also a big foodie. I love trying restaurants with all kinds of cuisines, and I love to bake.
04 / her approach
How does being both a PA-C and master esthetician shape your approach?
I’m able to combine my medical training as a PA-C with my background in skincare and esthetics. It helps me look at a patient’s needs more holistically and understand which combination of treatments, skincare and medical options may give them the best result. Healthy skin is beautiful skin, and I love having a wide range of tools available to help patients get there.
05 / her advice
What’s one thing you wish more patients knew about injectables?
Injectables don’t have to look obvious or fake. There’s a lot more “filler fear” today, and I think social media and reality TV have contributed to that. My advice is to find a provider whose work looks natural, whose aesthetic aligns with yours and whose recommendations you trust.
06 / her Skincare tip
What's one skincare product or step
you never skip?
Tinted mineral SPF. Never!
