About Dr. Jeffries
Dr. Jeffries is Board Certified from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has over 25 years of experience. He graduated from Lycoming College in Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in biology and received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School.
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Jeffries completed his internship in general surgery at UMDNJ New Jersey Medical School University Hospital in Newark, NJ. He then served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service at USP Leavenworth. Following this, he returned to New Jersey Medical School University Hospital to complete his residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery.
Dr. Jeffries worked in private practice providing reconstructive and cosmetic surgery services before joining Core Dermatology in 2012. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Jeffries is a member of the Peoria Medical Society and has served as its President.
Dr. Jeffries is skilled in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery including breast augmentation and reconstruction, nasal surgery, chemical peels, dermabrasion, brow/forehead lift, collagen/fat injections, liposuction, eyelid surgery, face/neck lift, tummy tuck, ear surgery, BOTOX® Cosmetic, Juvéderm® Injectable Gel and more.
