About Dr. Gerlach
Core Dermatology is proud to welcome Todd M. Gerlach, MD to our medical practice. Dr. Gerlach is a board certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He attended college at the University of California at Riverside, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. Dr. Gerlach then moved to Chicago to pursue his dream of becoming a physician at the Chicago Medical School.
He completed his general surgery residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, followed by plastic surgery training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Gerlach also completed fellowships in microsurgical replantation and hand surgery at U.C. Davis Medical Center.
After his formal education, he started a private practice providing plastic and reconstructive surgery for patients in the suburbs of Chicago. In 2005, he relocated back to Southern California and served patients in the greater Los Angeles region. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Dr. Gerlach moved back to the Midwest to be closer to family and joined Core Dermatology in 2020.
